Mr. Ashok Bagul (Founder)

The spring master, known for his dexterity, Mr Ashok Bagul founded Akar Spring Works in 1986. It was a far cry from initial days when the first generation entrepreneur Mr. Bagul used to manufacture springs manually with hands using minimum tools. The journey began with a small space in household garage. But always anxious to conquer greater heights, Mr. Bagul had a vision to make it bigger. Over the years Mr. Bagul invested in Plant, Machinery & Human Resources, creating a huge empire that has spread across India. Today, AKAR has its high-tech manufacturing units strategically located in the heart of India at Nagpur City. Over Over Four Decades of Experience and Expertise of Mr. Bagul is the driving force behind the success of AKAR.

Vishal Bagul is a forward-thinking engineer responsible for leading technological innovation at Akar Spring Works. With a strong background in engineering and a deep passion for emerging technologies, he plays a pivotal role in modernizing the company’s manufacturing operations.As the head of new technology adoption, Vishal oversees the integration of smart factory systems that blend hardware advancements with intelligent software solutions. His work includes automating production processes, implementing data-driven monitoring systems, and developing custom software tools to improve operational efficiency and quality control.Vishal’s commitment to continuous improvement and his ability to bridge traditional manufacturing with Industry 4.0 concepts have positioned Akar Spring Works as a leader in smart and sustainable manufacturing. 40 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

Established in the year 1986, Akar has been the Industry Leader since decades.

1986 - BEGINNING

Akar came into existence in a backyard garage. Springs were hand-made on manual tools but soon got recognition due to high accuracy and craftsmanship for Mr. Bagul.

2002 - BUTIBORI PLANT

Akar established a fully automatic manufacturing plant in India's biggest Industrial Hub, BUTIBORI MIDC in Nagpur City.

2024 - HINGNA PLANT

In 2024, Akar further expanded its capacity by establishing a new high tech Industry 4.0 compliant factory at Hingna MIDC in Nagpur city.

2025 - PUNE OFFICE

In 2025, Akar opened its new office at Chakan MIDC in Pune expanding its presence in the automobile hub.
